Since its foundation, Oaklee Housing has undergone significant expansion. The organisation currently has over 700 housing units under its management and has ambitions to double this figure over the next 3 years. There is currently a strong development pipeline in place which will see Oaklee Housing expand further. To fulfil these ambitions and to deliver its development strategy and programme, Oaklee Housing is seeking to appoint a National Development Manager.   

National Development Manager

The National Development Manager will be responsible for contributing to and leading Oaklee Housing’s development strategy and programme.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the National Development Manager will manage and significantly increase Oaklee Housing’s pipeline of housing units predominantly by developing partnerships with key stakeholders including local authorities, developers and auctioneers and by acquiring new sites for development. Overseeing construction of new housing units will also form a part of the role.

Oaklee Housing is seeking a highly experienced and strategic manager with the capability to meet the organisation’s ambition of doubling its number of housing units over the next 3 years. The post-holder will have the ability to identify new development opportunities and secure these for Oaklee Housing. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding and knowledge of the domestic housing market in Ireland and the current challenges facing the market.  Candidates with experience in residential development, civil engineering, planning, architecture, quantity surveying or construction from a not-for-profit, public or private sector background should apply.
