Paid Graduate Fundraising Intern for Cork University Hospital Charity (CUH Charity)

Role title: Fundraising Intern

Location: Cork University Hospital, Cork

Duration: 9 months

Hours: 35hours/week

Remuneration: €1,250 per month


Cork University Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals in Ireland with over 1 million patients attending the hospital every year. The CUH serves the HSE Southern area and the regional areas of Limerick, Clare, Tipperary, Waterford and Kilkenny.

The CUH is also one of the largest teaching hospitals in Ireland. For a hospital as large and busy as CUH, high quality equipment and services are essential. The CUH Charity was formed to raise much-needed funds to improve facilities and services and purchase vital medical equipment for patients and visitors to Cork University Hospital.

CUH Charity wishes to add a high potential graduate intern to the fundraising team, to support a range of fundraising and communication activities.

Are you seeking an opportunity in fundraising and communications? We are looking for someone with the following profile:

  • Third level qualification
  • High motivation
  • High degree of initiative, flexibility and creativity
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills                      
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong commitment to teamwork
  • Fluent English speaker
  • Commitment to the not-for-profit sector
