2into3's Second Annual Report on Fundraising in Ireland & Autumn Seminar Series
2into3, in association with Ulster Bank and Mason Hayes & Curran, launched our Second Annual Report on Fundraising Performance in Ireland in September in Trinity College, Dublin. The launch in Dublin was the first in the National Seminar Series, with seminars also taking place in Limerick IT (6th October), National University of Ireland, Galway (12th October) and University College Cork (26th October).

University College Cork, 26th October 2011
The fourth and final seminar in the 2into3 Autumn Seminar Series took place in the beautiful Council Room of University College Cork, on 26th October 2011. Sinéad Kelleher of 2into3 presented and discussed the findings of 2into3's Second Annual Report on Fundraising Performance in Ireland. A great variety of representatives from the not-for-profit sector were in attendance which contributed to the quality of the discussion following the presentation. How not-for-profit organisations could work together to improve fundraising and how to expand the fundraising mix were among the issues considered. 2into3 would like to extend our thanks to UCC for graciously hosting the event, to the panelists who generously shared their experiences and to attendees for their time and contribution to the seminar.

For the Second Annual Report on Fundraising Performance in Ireland, the seminar series was brought to Galway for the first time. The seminar, in conjuction with UlsterBank and Mason Hayes & Curran, was graciously hosted by National University of Ireland, Galway. Attendees at the seminar included representatives from the not-for-profit sector, funding organisations, academia and the business community. 2into3 would like to extend our thanks to the panelists who generously shared their experiences and provided an insight into fundraising in their organisation and region. Their contribution allowed for an interesting discussion around issues such as the changing nature of fundraising, how new sources of funding could be found and the opportunities and challenges associated with online fundraising.

2into3 brought its Second Annual Report on Fundraising in Ireland to Limerick on Thursday October 6th 2011, in conjuction with UlsterBank and Mason Hayes & Curran, and graciously hosted by the Limerick Institution of Technology. The event was well attended with representatives from the not-for-profit sector, funding organisations, academia and the business community. 2into3 would like to extend our thanks to the panelists who shared their experiences and provided an insight into fundraising in the Mid-West region. Their contribution allowed for a very interesting discussion about the changing nature of fundraising and the challenges the not-for-profit sector faces today.

Launch of 2into3's Second Annual Report on Fundraising in Ireland 2011

2into3, in conjunction with Ulster Bank and Mason Hayes&Curran, launched our Second Annual Report on Fundraising in Ireland. This study represents the second in a series of analysis of the effects of the economic downturn on income in the not-for-profit sector.
The launch was a great success and well attended. 2into3 wishes to thank Ulster Bank, Mason Hayes & Curran for supporting the research and the seminar series and Trinity College Dublin's Centre for Nonprofit Management for hosting the event. Launching the 2011 Report, 2into3’s Founding Director, Dennis O'Connor explained:

confirming that Irish people have continued to give to charitable organisations despite the
traumatic contraction in the Irish economy and the financial pain being endured by individual households.”
