Quarter 2 2017: Fundraised Income up by 1%

(06 Oct 2017)

Fundraised income in the not-for-profit sector has increased by 1% in Q2, 2017 over Q2, 2016 on a year-on-year basis driven by Major Gifts and Emergency DM Appeals. For the first-time analysis on average gifts levels was included to respond to a need of the sector, which found average gift level in Q2, 2017 was €37, with Major Gifts having an average level of €3,143.

These findings emerged from the latest 2into3 Quarterly Fundraising Monitor which also found that there are significantly differing trends in fundraised income within the sector, and a continuous strong performance from health organisations.

2into3’s Quarterly Fundraising Monitor Report now includes longitudinal analysis, information on average gift per method, and corporate sponsorship. 2into3 has recently established partnerships with Dochás, The Wheel and the Federation of Irish Sport which means that a discount rate applies for member organisations joining the Quarterly Fundraising Monitor.
