We are immediately recruiting seven new high level fundraising roles on behalf of Galway Arts Festival, Irish Film Institute, Na Píobairí Uilleann, National Chamber Choir, Royal Hibernia Academy, The Model and Wexford Festival Opera.

These leadership positions will individually participate in the development of a strategic fundraising plan for one of the RAISE organisations, working closely with 2into3 and Networking Matters under the RAISE programme. Reporting to the organisation’s Director or CEO, these role will take responsibility for the implementation of the strategy, developing participation and engagement between the arts organisation and its community of prospective philanthropic supporters.

We are now seeking exceptional fundraising and business development talent in individuals with a passion for the arts and the capability to lead new areas of fundraising development. Roles will be based in Dublin, Galway, Wexford and Sligo.



General requirements:

  • leadership ability to work at a strategic level in an organisation

  • adaptability and creativity combined with ability to meet specific financial targets

  • ability to shape and define organisational processes and systems

  • strong influencing, communications and promotion skills

  • ability to manage high-level relationships and partnerships

  • high level business acumen and customer focus


You will have a love of visual arts, film, theatre, music or cultural festivals and believe in their central role in advancing Irish culture. Head of Fundraising 

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is the largest voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland. Its membership of 10,500 volunteers throughout the country are supported by professional staff, working for social justice and the creation of a more just, caring nation. This unique network of social concern also gives practical support to those experiencing poverty and social exclusion, by providing a wide range of services to people in need. There has been an increase in demand for Saint Vincent de Paul’s services over the past number of years, meaning that expanding fundraising capacity is of vital importance to the Society in fulfilling its mission.

 

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a Head of Fundraising to develop the fundraising function of the national office. The chief objectives of this post are the development and maximisation of national fundraising opportunities and capacity building activity around the regions and conferences nationally. Activities will include corporate philanthropy, direct marketing and web-based fundraising. Suitable candidates will have expertise across a broad mix of fundraising along with strong communications and media understanding.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of fundraising success including corporate fundraising

  • Ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies

  • Inspirational leadership, communication and influencing skills

  • Strong administrative and organisational ability

Head of Development

Youth Work Ireland is the country’s largest national youth services organisation, comprised of 22 affiliated youth organisations interacting with over 70,000 young people everyday across Ireland.Youth Work Ireland represents local youth services led by local people. Engaging with young people in their communities, their volunteers and youth workers make Ireland a better place for young people to develop as active citizens.

Youth Work Ireland is entering a new strategic phase in its mission to improve society for young people. The organisation is seeking to drive forward its development activity, broaden its national communication, civic engagement and fundraising.

Youth Work Ireland is hiring a new senior manager to lead this development strategy. This person will have responsibility for creating, coordinating and executing a fundraising and communications plan that will deliver annual income of over €1,000,000. The Head of Development will deepen engagement with existing supporters while creating innovative fundraising programmes for corporations, trusts & foundations, major donors and the general public.

Headway Ireland brings positive change to the lives of those affected by an acquired brain injury. Since 1985 it has delivered essential support and rehabilitation services from eleven locations, improving the lives of hundreds of people each year.

Headway Ireland is progressively developing its services and would like to see full national coverage of a continuum of services to support people with acquired brain injury.
