The 2into3 Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme

Service Offering

The 2into3 Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme aims to connect the best graduate talent on the market with not-for-profit organisations across all spectrums of the sector. The programme offers an entry point for graduates into the sector and allows organisations to develop their capacity.  Traineeships have been offered in the areas of fundraising, communications and marketing, however the programme is not limited to these areas.

To date we have placed 40 graduates on the programme, with the majority of these converting into full time employment roles within host organisations. Trainees are supported through a series of one to one mentoring sessions with 2into3 as well as Roundtable events hosted by key thought leaders and influencers within the sector.

2018 Roundtable hosts include;

  • Eamonn Timmins (Head of Communications & Engagement, Charities Regulator)

  • Diarmaid Ó Corrbuí (CEO, Carmichael Centre)

  • Darren Ryan (CEO, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland)

  • Kieran Joyce (Sales Manager & Partnerships, Everyday Hero)

Alumni and Clients share their experiences:

Focus Ireland – “Through 2into3’s thorough and comprehensive recruitment process we’re confident that we can get a candidate who can immediately step up and start assisting and performing from day one which is really important for us as a busy not-for-profit.”

Public Fundraising Manager, Focus Ireland

Wexford Festival Opera – “We felt the graduate programme was a very good opportunity to build capacity within the organisation at an economic cost. The benefits of the graduate programme were very important to us in terms of the mentoring that’s provided and in terms of the search and selection of candidates.”

Chief Executive, Wexford Festival Opera

CUH Charity – “I was attracted to 2into3’s graduate programme because of the fact that it’s a clear path into the industry which I was aware is a very challenging industry to work in. Instead of just learning theory about the sector you’re actually working in the sector, in an organisation in your community. You’re getting real on the job experience and then also availing of really regular mentoring sessions, training and networking opportunities within the sector and with other graduates who are in the programme.”

Fundraising Coordinator and previous Fundraising Trainee, CUH Charity
