The Sports Capital Programme has become a core pillar of the governments funding of grassroot sports. It is one of the very few ways that local clubs, community groups, schools, third level colleges and ETB’s can access state funding for sporting developments.
Simply, if clubs do not apply, they will not receive a grant. The issue with Sports Capital is that not enough clubs know what they can apply for, or how to effectively plan an application to suit their needs. Our two-hour Masterclass sheds light on the Sports Capital landscape for attendees. We have worked on Sports Capital applications since 2014. During these sessions we share our experience with attendees to help them avoid the common pitfalls that lead to invalidity, helping to ensure that they have the knowledge to best strengthen their potential application.
In 2018, 2into3 interacted with over 100 clubs in various sports looking to make a Sports Capital application. We have also run similar sessions in Northern Ireland for clubs and NGB’s on the sports grant landscape.
If your sporting body is considering facilitating such a session for a number of clubs or organisations and you would like to learn about how 2into3’s expertise can help, please contact 2into3’s Darren McMahon at Darren.McMahon@2into3.com or call direct on 01 234 3127.
