Adrian McCarthy

For Purpose Manager

Adrian McCarthy is the manager of For Purpose – Ireland’s Not-for-Profit Graduate Programme. Adrian manages all aspects of the programme and is responsible for the growth and development of For Purpose.

Adrian holds a BA in Drama & English from University College Cork and he is currently studying part-time for an MA in Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.

Adrian took responsibility for For Purpose at the end of 2016. Since then, For Purpose has undergone significant milestones including a full rebrand and a broadening of the range of traineeships on offer from fundraising & communications to property surveying, housing management, programmes and further areas. Adrian is dedicated to building a pipeline of future leaders for the sector and for providing opportunities to graduates searching ‘for purpose’ in their careers.

Adrian can be found attending performances and gallery exhibitions in his spare time.
