Transgender Equality Network Ireland Ltd. (TENI) is a not-for-profit organisation that supports the trans community in Ireland. Ireland remains a place where it can be difficult for trans people to lead safe, healthy and full lives. TENI is dedicated to ending transphobia, including stigma, discrimination and inequality and continues in the struggle for social, political and legal recognition of trans people in Ireland.

TENI is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer who will be responsible for upholding the values of TENI and implementing Vision 23, the organisations’ 3-year strategy plan.



Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will review existing structures and processes and take strategic steps to advance in areas of potential growth/opportunity. The CEO will lead on the implementation of TENI’s organisational strategy and develop an advocacy strategy to advance trans rights in the areas of legal recognition, healthcare, education and employment.

TENI is seeking an experienced and accomplished leader with a strong management skillset, a strategic mindset and experience working in a multifaceted role alongside Boards or committees. The CEO will be comfortable managing a wide-ranging mix of stakeholders and have a passion for TENI’s mission.
