Clanmil Housing Association Ireland CLG (Clanmil Ireland) is an Approved Housing Body with almost 360 properties in management. Having grown from a 68-unit housing scheme in Dundalk, they currently own and manage approximately 360 homes for social housing tenants in the four Dublin Council areas, and in Kildare, Louth, Meath, Laois and Wicklow. This includes general needs housing, housing for people with disabilities, and housing for the elderly.
Clanmil Ireland has approved borrower status with the Housing Finance Agency and was one of the first of the smaller AHBs to achieve this. The Association also has facilities with AIB to ensure that it maintains adequate liquidity to support business growth and operations.
They are now seeking to appoint a Finance & Governance Manager. The Finance & Governance Manger will play a key role in developing the organisation’s existing finance functions to ensure its continued sustainability.
Finance & Governance Manager
Reporting to the CEO, the Finance & Governance Manager will have full responsibility for the financial procedures and practices within Clanmil Ireland. They will ensure that the organisation’s financial dealings are in line with best practice and current legislation. The Finance & Governance Manager will oversee cashflow functions within the organisation and take a strategic approach to ensure that the organisation remains financially sustainable.
Clanmil Ireland is seeking to appoint an experienced finance professional, possessing a partial/full ACCA, CIMA or ACA or equivalent qualification. The postholder will be an exceptional communicator with a clear understanding and passion for Clanmil Ireland’s purpose. They will have a proven ability in undertaking challenging projects. They will also appreciate the importance of strong governance, be committed to ensuring the organisation can continue to succeed in the work it does and will continually act in the best interests of the organisation.
